Tekton Tools
There are hundreds of brand names in the tool game. Brands range from well known names selling high end tools to professionals to no-name brands sold in dollar stores. If you’re like me, when purchasing tools you want good quality without breaking the bank. I recently stumbled upon Tekton Tools.
Who is Tekton?
Tekton is a family owned tool manufacturer based in Grand Rapids Michigan. They have been around for about 10 years making everything from socket sets to pliers to vises. They’re committed to selling well constructed tools at a fair price. Tekton is steadily increasing their Brand’s reach popping up in more retailers all the time. Most of their tools are made in the USA.
What tools do they make?
It might be easier to list what they don’t make. Some of their most popular item are their socket sets, wrench sets and various types of pliers. Other popular items are their hammer and screwdriver sets. Tekton also offers a whole line of specialty automotive tools. We really like their tool storage accessories.
Tool Warranty
This is where Tekton sets themselves apart. Their guarantee has no time limits and no fine print. You simply go to their tool-help page, attach a photo of your tool, and tell them where to ship the replacement tool. That’s it! No hassle, no trips to the store.
Discounts and Rewards
Tekton offers a couple of different ways to save on purchases made through their online store. By simply creating an online account, Rewards Program members automatically receive 10% back on every purchase. Members can use the rewards like cash on future purchases.
Students are eligible for the Rewards Program’s 10% discount and an additional 30% Student discount. Instructors can also apply for a special program.

Some of Our Favorite Tekton Tools
We’ve had the SAE and Metric versions of Tekton’s Crowfeet Wrenches for several years. These are perfect for adjusting ignition timing on our older cars.
We really like Tekton’s Socket Sets. They really are complete kits. The kits contain every size socket from 3/16 to 3/4 inch and 5 to 19 mm. Also included is a handy universal joint and a cordless drill adapter.
We are not associated in any way with Tekton Tools. We are participants in the Amazon, Home Depot and WalMart affiliate programs. Some links on this page may be affiliate links.
