If you haven’t yet tried Amazon Subscribe & Save, you’ve been missing out on some pretty nice savings.
How It Works
Amazon offers discounts and sometimes awesome coupons for using their Subscribe and Save service. Members can set up reoccurring automatic deliveries of items they use regularly and save with every delivery. Most people don’t know that you can cancel the Subscribe and Save orders and still take advantage of the discount and coupon savings.
- Some Amazon Subscribe & Save items are available only to Prime members
- Some Amazon Subscribe & Save coupons are Prime-only
Coupons
Coupons are where the BIG savings are. The coupons stack ON TOP of the Subscribe and Save discounts. Here are a few things to keep in mind about Subscribe & Save coupons:
- Subscribe & Save coupons only come off the first shipment of an item
- Coupons are limited to one use per Amazon account
- Coupons disappear off an item’s page when they hit their limit or expire
- You must clip a coupon to your account in order for it to apply
Cancelling Subscribe and Save
You can cancel Subscribe & Save orders at any time with no penalty (up until the items lock for your NEXT shipment, which is when Amazon charges you for them). I often cancel items right after their first shipment arrives, using its delivery as my reminder to cancel. Just go into your Amazon account and in a few clicks you can cancel the subscription.
