Ryobi Cordless Jobsite Fan
This Ryobi job site fan is part of Ryobi’s 18 Volt Tool System. This means it’s battery is compatible with a large number of other Ryobi tools. Features include a variable speed setting and full adjustability that allows you to aim airflow right where you want it. Multiple hanging and mounting options offer great flexibility for mounting in variety of places for any situation.
The stated run time is 10 hours on a fully charged battery. After the battery runs out you can switch over to corded 120 volt AC power. We couldn’t find any stated CFM ratings for this fan. As far as overall size, the Ryobi fan is the smallest of the three we looked at. We never seem to have enough space, Therefore, we consider the smaller size a plus.
Unfortunately , Roybi does not include a battery or charger with this fan. You can purchase this fan with a battery and charger. Alternatively, you can purchase individual batteries and chargers. We do like the 3 year warranty.
Dewalt Cordless Jobsite Fan
Dewalt has been supplying tools to professionals and DIY types for many years. Dewalt offers several fans including their popular jobsite fan. This fan features variable speed control and several mounting options including wall and hook mounting. With 500 CFM Dewalt’s fan will cool even the hottest of areas.
The stated run time is up to 7 hours on a single charge. Once your battery runs out, you’ll have the option to use 120 volt AC power. Of the three fans, the Dewalt fan is the largest. The upside is the large amount of airflow the larger fan produces.
Like Ryobi and Milwaukee, Dewalt does not include a battery with this fan. Similar to the Ryobi, you can purchase individual batteries and chargers. Dewalt includes a 3 year warranty.
Milwaukee Cordless Jobsite Fan
Milwaukee makes rock solid professional grade tools. They have recently became very popular with the DIY crowd. Milwaukee’s job site fan has taken the tool world by storm. This fan features 3 speed settings and a lot of adjustibility. Multiple mounting options allow use in a variety of places and situations.
The stated run time is up to 17 hours. Users report actual run times for 7 to 9 hours. Once the battery runs out, you can switch to 120 volt AC power. Milwaukee says this fan puts out 284 CFM. In regards to overall size, this fan is right in the middle.
Like Ryobi and Dewalt, Milwaukee does not include a battery with this fan. Milwaukee includes a 1 year warranty.
