Automotive Specialty Tools
If you’re like me you often work on your own car. Most cars today require special tools to perform basic maintenance. Servicing brakes and replacing worn chassis components can’t be done without the right tools.
Loaner Tools
Many of the big chain auto parts stores loan out tools to customers performing their own auto repair. Customers do have to put a deposit down on the tool and return it when the work is done. Unfortunately, stores don’t always have loaner tools needed to service every car.
Buying Specialty Tools
Amazon carries a wide selection of specialty automotive tools. Many are the exact same tools available at local auto parts stores and tool stores. I’ve used this set to work on my son’s brakes and this set to work on car’s suspension. Even after buying the tools, we saves serious money verses taking our cars to a mechanic for repairs. We’ve listed some of the most popular automotive tools below.

Need Auto Parts?
Amazon sells great name brand auto parts often much cheaper than local parts stores. I recently saved over $100 on a steering knuckle assembly. My local auto parts store wanted $140 more and had to order the part. Amazon save me $140 and delivered my new part in two days.
You can use Amazon’s handy parts finder to score great deals on the right part for your car or truck. Check out Amazon’s extensive line of auto parts here.
