What is a Fire TV Stick?
The Amazon Fire TV Stick is a streaming video player sold by Amazon. The Amazon Fire TV Devices let you stream video content, play games, listen to music, browse social media and the internet and much more. You’ll be able to watch Amazon’s Prime Video that is included in your Amazon Prime membership. If you don’t have an Amazon Prime Membership, you can explore all the best free no-risk trials here.
The Fire TV Stick is shaped like an oversized USB flash drive, and plugs directly into your TV’s HDMI video input. Rather than storing files, though, it’s a full-featured streaming player, able to turn any television with an HDMI port into a Smart TV.
The Fire TV Stick is free to use. There are hundreds of apps you can download for free. However, to watch subscription-based apps like Netflix, Hulu, or literally hundreds of other streaming apps you’ll need to pay for them separately. There’s a Fire TV Device to suite everyone’s needs.
