I had an older set of Stanley Saw Horses that served me well for many years. With my home remodeling really ramping up I needed a second and larger set of saw horses. I decided to give Stanley’s Adjustable Saw Horses a shot. What really drew me to them was the adjustable width. I needed more room for holding more more pieces of material at once.
Basic Specs
In the standard configuration the height of these saw horses is 30 inches and the width is 28 inches. Fully extended, the height becomes 35 inches the arms are 45.5 inches. Adjusting is quick and easy and doesn’t require any tools.
This set can support up to 1,000 pounds in the standard configuration. Once fully extended, they can support up to 800 pounds. I’m not sure I’d ever be placing anything near 800 pounds on saw horses but it’s nice to know I could if I needed to.
These saw horses have plenty of capacity. I can support a 30″ x 80″ door for painting with plenty of room to spare. There’s still ample space for holding several pieces of door casing. No more running out of space and having to wait on paint to dry.

These saw horses come with a host of other cool built in features. Let’s take a look at some of them.
The removable slip on timber and pipe channels make holding onto round pieces and other materials easy. This set comes with two of them. I wish they would have included four.
The bottom storage shelves are handy for storing tools, parts and materials.
The folding design makes transport and storage easy. Unfolding these saw horses takes just a second.

This set of saw horses is a wise investment for any homeowner that tackles their own DIY projects. We really like the adjustable height and width for increased capacity. This set’s versatility and value make them a no brainer. We’re sure we’ll get many years of use out of ours.
